From the JB song archives. Another early, home cooked recording. My bruthuh, the very talented Dave McMeninmen on drums, the great Nick Bariluk on keys and the incredible George Skidd on bass,. The Photo is Winter at the top of 2025. Snow in South Carolina!!! Wow! It brought back fond memories of New England and Redding, CT. There's a bunch more tunage where this came from. I'll upload and shuffle once in a while. This server and site only allows X number of song files posted at a time.

The very talented, bruthuh Dave McMeninmen on drums, and Joe Stann from Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes on Tenor Sax. The photo is a recent one of yours truly, taken during a magnificent, South Carolinian Super Moon!

I was reluctant to post this one captured DIY live, because of the rough recording quality. But, if you can get past the scratchiness, maybe adjust your volume, you'll hear a pretty good tune. If I find a better recording I'll switch it out. Bruthuh Dave McMeninmen on drums, Joe Stann from Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes on Tenor Sax, The fabulous Nick Bariluk on piano, talented George Skidd on Fretless bass, Valerie Campbell one of the beautiful voices on back up vocals, ALL absolutely great players, none better anywhere. I was privileged to work with them. We were young, dare I say at times, clueless, and the music "business" was very tough... even a mystery to break into. For preservation's sake, here tis. I was very young when I sang it so my voice is pristine. So, I guess Time Is indeed, The Fire. But that said, it's lower in range so I may be able to do it again. I'm in the middle of putting another album out there and this will be one of the tunes. So, I'll warm the V chords up real good and we'll give er a whirl! That there's a little SC, Southern lingo.
